St. John Street

AR Video, 3D Rendering, and Concept Designer

Welcome to the St. John Street Park Project

This page showcases a collaborative project focused on promoting a new park for the St. John Street community. Using a mix of 3D rendering, poster design, and an interactive AR video, our team aimed to visualize the potential of the space and engage the public in its development. Here, you'll find my contributions to the project, including immersive visual designs, layout concepts, and supporting media created by my classmates.

3D Rendering

I created a detailed 3D rendering of the St. John Street park using Blender. The design features sidewalks, street signs, and standing structures placed throughout the park, intended as interactive stations where visitors could view images and read text about the history of St. John Street. This rendering was used to help the community visualize how the park could both serve as a gathering space and honor the area's past through informative design elements.

Collaborative Poster Designs - Honoring St. John Street’s History

As part of our group project to promote the vision for the future St. John Street Memorial Park, my classmates focused on designing powerful, research-driven posters that highlight the neighborhood’s cultural roots and historical resilience. Their work features archival photographs, community quotes, and hand-drawn illustrations that reflect the everyday lives, businesses, and struggles of the area’s residents. The posters emphasize the strong sense of identity, diversity, and unity that defined St. John Street, helping to preserve its memory through storytelling and design. While they focused on the print materials, I worked on the interactive and visual design elements like the 3D rendering and AR video to bring our vision of the park to life in a different medium.

AR Video Rendering

To bring the park design to life, I created an augmented reality video that gives an immersive look at how the space will function. The AR experience enables viewers to explore the park virtually and gain a deeper understanding of its features from various angles. It played a key role in communicating our vision to the community.

Pavilion Concept Design

Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I created a mock-up of what a pavilion could look like within the St. John Street park. This design focuses on blending functionality with community storytelling, imagining a covered space where visitors can gather, rest, or view exhibits. The visual was created to give a clear, stylized representation of how the pavilion might feel within the larger layout of the park.
